We will be changing our Clinical computer system between 28th August and the 5th September.
During this time we will be taking EMERGENCY ONLY appointments and issuing EMERGENCY medication ONLY as we will not have full access to our computers.
Please ensure you order your REPEAT MEDICATION EARLY. The last day of ordering will be the 27th August. This is to enable us to complete your request.
We thank you for your understanding during this time as both staff and GPs will be undertaking training. A huge change for both staff and patients.
NEW CLOSURE NOTICE
From Monday 4th August 2025 the Surgery will be CLOSED every WEDNESDAY afternoon from 1pm. This is a permanent change to enable staff and doctors to attend to the increasing pressures within GP Practice.
We will be open on Thursday afternoons.
VACCINATION CLINICS
COVID clinics are now complete until the AUTUMN.
Flu vaccination clinics are available for 2-4 year old children.
All adult and children FLU clinics are now complete until the Autumn.
RSV Vaccine
If you are between 75-79 years of age you may be eligible for the RSV vaccination which helps to protect you against severe lung infections.

TELEPHONE CALLS
To speak with a GP please phone the surgery STRICTLY at 8.30am to book a telephone call. These are on the day phone calls but the list is not endless and once we have reached a safe working capacity you will be asked to phone back at the next call time.
EMERGENCY calls ONLY will be taken outside of these times.
GP Face to Face appointments are booked following a telephone triage call with the doctor .
There has been a sharp rise in the amount of verbal abuse from some patients to our staff. Whilst we appreciate at times your frustration PLEASE DO NOT VERBALLY OR OTHERWISE take your frustrations out on our staff who work extremely hard in an ever increasing and demanding service.
We operate a ZERO tolerance policy towards abuse and your patience is very much appreciated.
For Smears/Diabetic/Asthma reviews or bloods please contact reception to book an appointment with our Practice Nurse.
Due to an increased volume of phone calls and prescription requests please allow 48 hours for any repeat prescriptions to be issued and then please also allow extra time for these to go to your nominated Pharmacy
Our Clinical staff and Doctors are continuing with clinics/surgeries but respectfully request that unless you are Medically Exempt please ensure you wear your mask at all times whilst in the Medical Centre and the number of patients permitted into the waiting room may continue to be limited. This enables the practice to provide some protection to all our patients and staff within our Healthcare setting at this time
The Practice will be operating a Telephone Triage service with immediate effect as a result of the Coronavirus emergency. Where possible try to give the reception staff a nominated Pharmacy for your Prescriptions to be sent to.
