Test results are only available between 2-3pm 

TEST RESULTS

All results are seen and reviewed by the requesting GP (or in the case of absence/holidays by a nominated covering GP).

If any direct action needs to be taken because of these results, you will be contacted by the surgery.

If patients would like to check their results are back they are invited to phone the surgery between 2pm - 3pm Monday to Friday (please allow 5 working days from date of test).

Please do not call at other times of the day as your result will not be available.

Important information regarding Cancer Screening

Patient cancer screening looks for early signs without symptoms and can save lives. Please do not ignore screening invitation letters. If you have missed your screening invite for Bowel Cancer (age 50-72yrs) or Breast Cancer (age 50-71 yrs) please follow the links below to arrange:

For overdue Cervical Smear tests (age 25-65 yrs) please contact our Reception Team to arrange an appointment.

If you have any questions regarding screening or cancer symptoms, please do not hesitate to book an appointment with your GP or Nurse.

NOTE FOR PATIENTS ORDERING PRESCRIPTIONS FROM OUR DISPENSARY

For patients ordering their prescriptions online to be collected from the dispensary, please write 'DISPENSARY' in the comments box before completing the order.

PATIENT/VISITORS TO THE SURGERY

Please DO NOT park in the staff car parking zones at the front of the building.

You may get blocked in at anytime or asked to move your vehicle.

BLOOD TEST APPOINTMENTS

Due to staff shortages we can not accommodate all patients requests for blood test appointments.  Priority will be given to patients with significant health or mobility problems and the frail elderly.  We will always try to accommodate appropriate and urgent requests but please be aware that you may be asked to use WBCH or RBH phlebotomy services.

SENDING OF MEDICAL PHOTOS INTO THE SURGERY

If you have been asked by your GP to send in photos by email can you please send them to the following email address stating which GP requested them. This address can also be used for administrative queries.
