Recent Media Regarding GP Practices:
The latest media notification is that general practice will have open doors from Monday 17th May 2021 and that Face to Face Appointments will be available.
The Covid-19 Pandemic is still with us and the Practice will do everything it can to keep patients, visitors and staff members safe. Variants of Covid-19 maybe in the area and we DO NOT want to expose patients and staff to this threat.
The GP Practice has remained open and has been providing safe face to face consultations during the Pandemic. Different ways of accessing GP services remain in place.
The practice will continue to operate in this safe way and no immediate changes will be made to the procedures in place.
We thank you for your understanding in keeping everyone safe.

Minor ailments and common conditions your pharmacy can help with rather than waiting for a GP Appointment
Every year, millions of us visit our GP with minor health problems that a local pharmacy could help with.
By visiting your pharmacy instead of your GP, you could save yourself time and trouble – no need to book an appointment, just walk in. This also means your GP can focus on treating people who are sicker than you.
Pharmacists can help recognise and treat many common illnesses. They can give advice and where appropriate, recommend over-the-counter medicines that could help clear up the problem.
If they think you need to see a GP for your illness, they will advise you to do that.

Training Practice:
The practice has always been being involved in student education.
You may have been in surgery when medical students have been present.
We are happy to announce that we are now an accredited training practice. Following a deanery visit we can now have speciality training doctors. These are fully qualified doctors who are generally a year or two from becoming a GP.

Manchester GP surgeries are there for you at evenings and weekends
The practice, working in collaboration with Manchester Extended Access, is pleased to offer access to GP, nurse and HCA appointments during the evenings and at the weekends.
To book appointments simply ask the receptionist who will arrange an appointment at a time and location that suits you best. This may not be at your usual practice, but the GP or Health Care Professional who sees you will have access to your medical record and can issue prescriptions if required and deal with other matters appropriately should the need arise.
