We are increasingly finding that the contact telephone numbers and addresses we have on record are out of date.  Please help us by advising the Practice promptly of any changes.  You can do this via the link on the Home screen or by handing the information to Reception.

Chronic Disease Clinics

Chronic diseases clinics are currently being re-introduced.  The practice will be working towards having a face to face appointment with those patients needing an annual review of their medical condition.

NHS Digital Data Sharing Opt OUT

We would like to reassure our patients that the proposed extraction of GP data by NHS digital does NOT include any patient registered with this practice or in NHS Scotland. NHS Digital provide services in England so are not able to access any data held in Scotland.  We are reviewing our appointment system from Tuesday 7th May 2024.  We will continue to have routine bookable in advance appointments, both face to face and telephone calls.  We will also have more "on the day" appointments available.  Once these routine appointments have been filled for the day, the reception team will ask that you call back on another day, unless it is a medical emergency.

We will continue to have a Duty Doctor for medical emergencies.  The Duty Doctor will triage these calls.  If it is not deemed a medical emergency then you may well be advised to make a routine appointment.

REGISTRATIONS

Please can we politely remind our patients that our prescription email address and the clinical email address should not be used for unsolicited correspondence. 

The GP may ask you to send a photographic image via email.  The email address is Clinical.s70997@nhslothian.scot.nhs.uk

PLEASE ONLY SEND CORRESPONDENCE TO THIS EMAIL ADDRESS IF YOU HAVE BEEN REQUESTED TO DO SO BY A CLINICIAN.

ANY UNSOLICITED EMAILS WILL BE DELETED WITHOUT BEING SEEN BY THE CLINICAL TEAM.
